Job Description

The Enrollment Coordinator works closely with principals and admission staff in two Catholic schools. This position supports schools to drive enrollment and retention goals. This position provides information and assistance to schools in marketing to families, planning parent and community outreach, and working efficiently with parishes in promoting Catholic schools. The coordinator ensures that families have the support they need to navigate the application and enrollment process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works with the school’s principal, admissions coordinators, and other staff members to create and execute a strategic approach to recruitment.
• Advises schools on internal and external communication vehicles such as print, web, media, and other outlets as necessary. While the Coordinator may not necessarily create each piece her/himself, s/he offer suggestions on the look and feel of all items designed by the school.
• Support schools with any recruitment events as needed.
• Works with the schools to schedule school promotion in parishes. Attends masses in different parishes to personally promote the schools.
• Supports schools in planning parent and student engagement activities.
• Works with the CSO Communications to ensure the promotion of schools’ news and achievements to parents, prospective families, and donors.
• Ensures that schools assist parents completing financial grant and aid applications (FACTS).
• Assists schools with the training and development of Ambassador Parents.
• Reports enrollment information to the Catholic Schools Office as needed.
• Helps schools developing strategies for family engagement (current and new), to increase retention.
• Supports schools in creating welcoming and culturally responsive environments. ?
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, and sensitivity to working in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
• The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Marketing experience and an eye for design.
• Team Player.
• Experience working with Catholic schools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, internet research, and picture and video editing software.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional demeanor.
• Detail oriented, and independent judgment.
• Ability to work with public and staff at all levels in a personable and professional manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• The majority of work performed in the schools and in a general office environment.
• Requires availability for extended hours plus non-traditional hours to perform job duties.
• This position requires traveling to all schools in the region.
• Participation and attendance at CSO sponsored events and meetings.
• This is a full-time, calendar-year position; some evenings and weekends are required.
