Job Description

This is a long term substitute assignment that is expected to start on or about 11/12/19 and end on 2/10/2020.
The Harvard Public Schools seeks a long-term substitute to teach four sections of 10th grade Global Studies Honors and one section of Advanced Placement Human Geography (11th and 12th graders.).
We are looking for a dynamic, creative and enthusiastic educator to work in a great school district, with motivated students and with a friendly and collaborative Social Studies department to fill a three month leave.

    The Bromfield School is located thirty miles west of Boston in the Northeastern corner of Worcester County in the town of Harvard, Massachusetts. The Bromfield School founded in 1878 by Margaret Bromfield Blanchard boasts a student population of 710 in grades 6-12. The strong academic program includes core courses in mathematics, English, social studies, and science, as well as music, world languages, physical education and fine and applied arts.     Job Requirements

    • Hold a valid Massachusetts Teaching License in Social Studies at the appropriate grade level
      Current authorization to work in the United States
      Experience teaching Global Studies and/or AP Human Geography is preferred, but not required.
