Job Description

Successful candidate will possess the appropriate license in special education and have experience working with middle school age students with moderate to severe special education needs, including academic, behavioral, emotional and social. The candidate will provide special education students with appropriate learning activities and assignments designed to address intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth within the context of a self-contained program. Develop and modify curricula and prepare lessons and instructional materials according to ability levels and in alignment with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for their assigned caseload of students including participating in IEP meetings, updating IEP’s and completing progress reports. Familiar with the MCAS Alternative-Portfolio model.

    Job Requirements
