Job Description

The Lynn Public Schools has an opening for a  Behavior Specialist for the 2019-2020 school year.


Reports to:  

Administrator of Special Education


Job Details:

The purpose of this position is to provide behavioral consultation and assist classroom teachers in developing classroom organization, scheduling and behavior management. Provide training in use of ABA, discrete trials, and data collection. Assist in the development of behavioral objectives and data collection procedures, and monitor data collection.


Job Requirements:

Must currently possess Massachusetts Educator Certification and Board Certified in Applied Behavior Analysis. Must currently be a Safety Care Instructor or be willing to be trained as an instructor. Ability to be flexible with scheduling. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to provide professional development in the areas of behavior, inclusion and modifications for students with behavioral difficulties.
