Job Description

Lynch Elementary School is seeking a 1.0FTE long term substitute Special Education Teacher for grade K-5 begining on or about 10/25/2019 through 1/31/2020.

Effectively work with a Team of professionals to coordinate services
Meet all the needs of all students per Individualized Education Plans
Lead IEP meetings
Have experience in working with a Co-Teach classroom model
Provide effective instruction and support for all students.
Administer educational assessments
Write educational assessments
Effectively communicate with students' families.
Meet the needs of a variety of learning styles with differentiated instruction.
Work closely with special education department in meeting student needs, collecting data and demonstrating effective presentation skills for Team meetings.

    Job Requirements

    • Must hold a valid DESE Teacher Certification
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
