Job Description

READS Collaborative is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to fulfill a contracted hours with local districts (to be accepted at the applicants discretion). This part-time contract position provides flexible working hours. The position may include supervision of RBTs, the provision of consultative therapeutic and evaluative services for diagnostic, preventative, and intervention purposes within the school setting; and if needed to provide direct services and/or support to students.


PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop/assist with individual behavior management programs for students in the classroom or inclusion setting.
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Classroom Needs Assessments
• Provide program/individual staff consultation on therapeutic staff design/implementation of BIPs.
• Facilitate Team consultation meetings with classroom teachers/related service providers/paraprofessional staff.
• Schedule and document personal provision of services to students, as outlined on IEPs, including daily intervention and supervision
notes.
• Engage in social-behavioral elements of annual IEP process (attendance at Team mtgs, updating of PLEP B, update of current
performance data, development of goals/benchmarks, progress reports, annual summary, etc.) as needed.
• Train Behavior Interventionists in theory and program implementation
• Consult with Special Education Coordinators to support student progress and programming needs.

    Job Requirements

    • 1. Board Certified Behavior Analyst, required
      2. Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field
      3. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in intervention for students with social, emotional and behavioral challenges
      4. Experience with students with social, emotional and behavioral challenges
      5. Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments, data collection to monitor and measure student growth, therapeutic intervention to support learning, and state-mandated reporting.
      6. Excellent oral and written communication skills required
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
