Position
Educator Support for Technology Integration within Curriculum

Compensation
Compensation is between $40,000.00-$50,000.00 for 35 hours a week, September through May. This position requires reliable transportation.

Job Description
The Technology Coach will support individual teachers at various Boston schools by collaborating around the planning and implementation of lessons that incorporate a technology component. The Coach will attend professional development workshops and support transferring skills from professional learning to the classroom.

Tasks
The following activities are some of the tasks that are expected for this position:

• Working with the Catholic Schools Office, the Technology Coach will share observations regarding the needs, challenges, and successes experienced in the collaborative work being conducted within schools.

• The Coach will create and lead online collaborative sessions for shared learning among teachers while providing feedback and practical strategies for more successful outcomes.

• The Coach will create and maintain a system to schedule teachers for in-person assistance and support.

• The Coach will observe and assist with lesson planning and implementation while providing feedback and strategies for improvement.

• The Coach will attend any professional development workshops within the Catholic Schools Office that relates to instruction that can be enriched with technology.

• The Coach will maintain and submit a weekly report of activities and hours.

Qualifications
Applicants must be a certified teacher with experience working in both elementary and middle school settings. Experience with 3D printing, coding, Google Classroom and GSuite, Google and iPad apps, digital platforms for personalized learning, tools for struggling learners, iMovie and interactive digital presentations, online assessment apps, and digital citizenship training, preferred.
