Job Description

The primary responsibility of the School-Based Clinician Manager is to provide strategic therapeutic intervention and support of students attending the East Meadow School, in 1:1 and group contexts during school and community activities as well as to supervise the School-Based Therapeutic Support (SBTS) staff.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree, or pursuing Master’s degree preferably in the human services field. Minimum of 1- year experience working with children who have emotional and/or behavioral disorders. Must have experience in working with children and their families in a therapeutic relationship, have knowledge of Vermont’ system of care for children and youth, and experience working with agencies that serve this populations, i.e. DCF, schools, court diversion…, etc. Must have experience facilitating complex clinical teams. Must have experience supervising direct care staff required.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
