Job Description

Meeting Street's Outpatient Rehabilitation program partners with Southcoast Hospitals Group to provide pediatric therapy services to children with various diagnosis, disabilities and complex medical needs in Southeastern Massachusetts. Our licensed staff evaluates and treats patients in need of physical, occupational and speech therapy services. We provide customized care with access to extensive resources, including a pool, sensory gym, fully accessible playground and personal equipment. At Meeting Street, we focus on your families by developing relationships and working collaboratively to help each child achieve his or her goals.

About this Role:

This is a per diem position working part-time hours on an as-needed basis.

Our Physical Therapists compassionately evaluate and identify needs of children with physical challenges. They develop and implement motivating and developmentally appropriate individual treatment programs, helping children achieve quantifiable results. They make recommendations for adaptive equipment when needed to facilitate and enhance a child's function. Physical Therapists also partner with parents and caregivers, providing them with tools to incorporate therapy into their every-day routine to maximize progress.

Physical Therapists are responsible for supervising services provided by Physical Therapist Assistants.

    Job Requirements

    • Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
      Doctor of Physical Therapy
      Experience working in pediatrics is preferred
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Doctorate degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
