Job Description

This opening is to provide SLP services, including supervision of a SLPA, in northern New Hampshire to school-aged children. Ideally, a candidate will be available one day per week during the school year, for a total of 36 days. However, the position could be lessened to 2 days/month (18 days over the school year) if that is the amount of time the candidate has available. The position is slated to serve students at Easter Seals in Lancaster through a contract with NCES.

As North Country Education Services is a consortium serving several SAUs, additional days may be possible if the candidate is interested in more than 40 days.

Candidate must be licensed in New Hampshire as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

NCES provides specialized, certified staff for a number of school districts in northern New Hampshire and Vermont. The immediate area affords the opportunity to explore the White Mountains of New Hampshire through hiking, alpine and Nordic skiing, mountain biking, ATV and snowmobile riding as well as other outdoor activities. New Hampshire has tax-free shopping and is within three hours of Boston, Montreal, and Burlington, VT.
