Job Description

Saint Bernard’s Central Catholic High School (STB) seeks an energetic, confident, adaptive, and faith-filled individual for the position of Admissions Coordinator. This position will provide direct support to the school and diocesan Administration through the skilled management and integration of school-based enrollment programming.

Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management for the Central Catholic High Schools (CCHS), the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for implementing and overseeing the day-to-day enrollment activities and initiatives at Saint Bernard’s. Working as an integral member of the enrollment team, the Coordinator will serve as the direct school representative for prospective students and families.


Responsibilities and Expectations:
• In collaboration with the CCHS Director of Enrollment, recognize enrollment opportunities, develop strategies, and implement domestic and international student recruitment enhancements that serve the mission of Saint Bernard’s.
• Maintain a student enrollment stream and database that incorporates benchmarks, metrics, and uses appropriate data in growing the student enrollment base.
• Build enduring relationships with internal constituencies that motivates support of enrollment and retention best practices.
• Communicate effectively with school representatives, parents, students, alumni, and prospective families as the admissions primary point of contact.
• Assist in coordinating open house events, external school visits, shadow visits, and community / regional good-neighbor activities.
• Organize student, staff, and parent volunteers in assisting with in-house and external enrollment events.
• In collaboration with the CCHS Director of Enrollment, develop, implement, and assess strategic marketing programs, including digital and social media marketing.

Required Qualifications:
• A demonstrated enthusiasm for Catholic education.
• A practiced understanding of recruitment, enrollment management, and retention strategies in a secondary school setting.
• An affable team approach that enables colleagues to cultivate strong community ties and networks among feeder schools and communities.
• Successful experience in working and interacting with volunteers.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; working knowledge of developing and executing social / digital media communications.
• Previous experience with utilizing enrollment database platforms.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) in management, marketing, public relations, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience with a record of accomplishment.

This is a full-time position. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
