Position Description
South Boston Catholic Academy is seeking a creative and caring early childhood teacher for the 2019-2020 School year to join our team of enthusiastic educators. We have eight vibrant early childhood classrooms classrooms at SBCA, each with a teacher and an aide.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• Experience with the Lynch Early Childhood project preferred

    Job Requirements

    • • Ensure a safe environment for children where they must be under direct supervision at all times
      • Plan and implement lesson plans and activities a to meet physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children
      • Manage classroom environment in a proactive and positive way
      • Ensure equipment and facility are clean, well maintained and safe at all times
      • Take precautions to ensure the health and safety of all children, parents and staff as necessary
      • Keep parents informed of program expectations, program activities and child’s progress
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
