Implementation of MA ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies curriculum
Differentiate classroom instruction based on the individual needs of each student
Incorporate technology into lessons as a means of engagement and as a tool for students
Utilize a wide-variety of assessment strategies to determine student performance
Ability to plan and teach in an inclusive setting
Maintain strong classroom management
Maintain good organization and time management skills
Communicate effectively with students, staff and parents
Collaborate with colleagues and administrators
Implement positive behavior intervention strategies
Portray a positive role model to students
Utilize computer software system for grading

    Job Requirements

    • MA Certification in Elementary Education (1-6)
      Knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
      Experience with the inclusion classroom preferred
      Able to plan and teach effectively in a standards-based classroom
      Able to work with a variety of learning styles in the classroom
      Able to differentiate instruction for students with all abilities
      Able to assess and report the academic and social performance of students
      Knowledge and experience with positive behavior interventions systems preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
