Job Description

Manville is a therapeutic day school serving students with social/emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.

Work as part of a classroom team with Special Education teacher and classroom behavioral counselor. Interact with team members across disciplines. Responsibilities include lesson planning and implementation and classroom management support. Ideal position for new graduates, internship site, or applicants seeking supervised experience in the special education field.

Position offers weekly team / individual supervision, opportunities for professional development, and a competitive salary and benefits package. 10-month school year and optional 20-day summer program for additional salary. Must have BA in education or mental health related field. Applicants with previous experience working with students with special needs within a school setting preferred.

    Job Requirements

    • Prior experience w/ similar population preferred.
      BA in Ed. or related field
      Salary based on experience and any teaching certification.
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
