Job Description

Be part of the Manville School’s interdisciplinary educational team. Manville is a therapeutic day school serving students with social emotional, behavioral and learning challenges. The school integrates educational and clinical approaches to support students learning and social emotional skill development. Lead a 3-person classroom team with graduate student level assistant teacher and milieu counselor. Involves curriculum planning and implementation, classroom management and organization, writing IEPs and quarterly reports, mentoring an assistant teacher. Must have knowledge and experience with IEP process and writign of IEP goals and objectives.

Must have Moderate Special Needs certification and have a minimum of 2 yrs. teaching experience with similar student population in a school setting. Must have experience running a classroom.
