    Job Requirements

    • 1. Serves as principal in the absence of the principal and associate principal.
      2. Assists the principal in the overall administration and supervision of the school, staff, and student body. Some examples of tasks in
      these areas that may be assigned to the assistant principal include:
      A. Evaluating selected staff;
      B. Participating in program/curriculum development initiatives at both the building and system level;
      C. Facilitating staff meetings;
      D. Supporting the budget development and review process;
      E. Serving as chair for selected Special Education TEAM evaluations;
      F. Supervising conduct within the school, overseeing disciplinary procedures, and keeping records of disciplinary action;
      G. Supervising the preparation of class lists;
      H. Assuming responsibility for coordinating transportation, custodial, cafeteria, and other such support services;
      I. Directing instructional supplies distribution and monitoring inventory;
      J. Analyzing data to improve instruction.
      3. Assists the principal in planning and management issues related to the building and grounds.
      4. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal may from time to time assign.

    • At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
