Job Description

Manville is a therapeutic day school serving students with social/emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. The school integrates educational and clinical approaches to support student learning and social emotional skill development.

Work as part of a classroom team with a Special Education teacher and classroom counselor. Responsibilities include lesson planning and implementation and classroom management support.

Manville offers weekly supervision, opportunities for professional development, competitive salaries and an excellent benefits package. 10-month school year and optional 20-day summer program. Ideal position for new graduates or for internship site.

BA in Education or mental health related field required. Prior experience w/ similar special needs population preferred. Salary range based on experience and any teaching certification.

      All staff is trained in crisis de-escalation techniques and expected to be able to assist in the physical management of students, as needed.
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
