The Testing Coordinator coordinates all state testing and assessment for the school.

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. Manages all school assessment programs including face-to-face high school final exams, NWEA MAP, KAP, KELPA2, Stride, and KITE, including make-up testing;
Researches and secures facilities throughout the state for all in-person testing, including determines space needs, contacts facility to obtain contract, reviews contract, and follows contract through K12 approval process, works with facility throughout process for securing facilities, throughout the state for all in-person testing, maintains communication to revisit needs prior to each administration, as needed;
Attends district, state and region trainings and ensures knowledge transfer with appropriate personnel; assists administration in training staff in appropriate District and State testing procedures (prior to each administration);
Tracks enrollment and orders testing materials accordingly; ensures accuracy of testing materials;
Creates test security plans and documents needed for implementation of the plan; Monitors state testing to ensure all regulations and rules are followed; Investigates and prepares reports for reported test irregularities;
Trains proctors in appropriate procedures for coordinating testing at their location; Supervises, monitors, and maintains regular communications with all proctors;
Coordinates with administration to assign teachers to proctor assignments during the testing window;
Develops communications to parents and staff regarding state testing;
Works with Manager, School Operations to update and maintain the Testing Database; Maintains testing planning and tracking tools throughout the year; Tracks student accommodations for Special Education, 504, and general education students.
Assists Manager, School Operations with the process of sorting, packing and shipping materials to sites; Regularly inventories and orders non-secure testing supplies for each administration;
Collaborates with the Special Education Administrator on the implementation of the KELPA2

    Job Requirements


      Bachelor’s degree AND
      One (1) year of testing, project management or event planning experience OR
      Equivalent combination of education and experience

      Excellent organizational and time management skills
      Professional experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
      Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, with most travel occurring during weeks leading up to and immediately following state testing windows
      Ability to pass required background check
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
