Job Description

The Archdiocese of Portland  in Oregon is currently searching for a Superintendent of Catholic Schools to begin on July 1, 2019.  Information about the position and the application process as well as the application materials are detailed below. 


 

Qualifications:

  • A practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.
  • A master’s degree, preferably in educational administration. Doctorate preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Catholic school administrative leadership, with previous experience as a diocesan administrator preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Have leadership ability as evidenced by performance in educational assignments, i.e., have the capacity, enthusiasm, intelligence, and patience to inspire and lead the Archdiocesan Catholic school community.
  • Have completed the Archdiocesan application process
