Job Description

Due to continued growth, School Services Diagnostic Center (SSDC), an extended evaluation, diagnostic and treatment program to be located at 30 Center Street, Holyoke, MA seeks candidates for anticipated openings for the following positions, serving students from ages 5 to 22 who present with a wide variety of moderate to severe special needs:

- Behavioral Interventionists (FT 10 month staff)
- Clinical Case Manager (FT 12 month position)


Behavioral Interventionists are responsible for implementing the routines, limits and behavioral programming in classroom settings, as well as providing academic and direct care support to students. Job Requirements: Associate’s Degree or higher; OR completing at least two years, or 48 credit hours of study at an institution of higher education; OR taking and passing a formal assessment measuring one’s knowledge and ability to assist classroom teachers in reading, writing and mathematics (WorkKeys or Parapro Assessment) in conjunction with a High School diploma or GED. Strong verbal/written communication and teamwork skills required. Prior experience working with students with special needs preferred.

A Clinical Case Manager will provide intensive counseling and support to students in a school setting through group therapy, case management between school and home/ancillary services, and support to the classroom team. Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology required; MA license in a clinical field (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW) and/or considerable experience in the field of counseling (2+ years in a diverse clinical setting).
