Job Description

The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) has an immediate opening for a Science Teacher to be part of a new education program serving at-risk adolescents in residential programs run by the Department of Youth Services (DYS) in Boston, MA for the 2018 – 2019 school year. Our ideal candidate will value professionalism, social justice education, and culturally responsive teaching. Classes are small and teachers should have a highly personalized approach with a focus on academic and behavioral success. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, as well as a secondary level Massachusetts teacher license in Math or Science. We are a supportive team who offer teachers growth through coaching and continued professional development. Successful candidates may be eligible for the teacher loan forgiveness program for up to $17,500. Review of resumes will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
