LTS for Intensive Integrated Preschool Program ~ Marsh Grammar School

DATE OF OPENING: Immediate

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Licensure by the Massachusetts Department of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education
2. Experience working with disabled preschool children
3. Expertise in language development
4. Excellent behavior management skills
5. Knowledgeable about developmental curriculum
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
8. Ability to conduct specialist assessments
9. Experience working in an integrated preschool setting
10. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Conduct preschool screening and special education assessments for students referred to TEAM evaluations or reevaluations
2. Provide a structured preschool experience for an integrated preschool population
3. Participate in TEAM evaluation, reevaluations, and review meetings
4. Develop goals and objective for student IEP’s
5. Maintain close communication with related service providers, parents, and outside service providers
6. Work collaboratively with professional staff to develop integrated program options
7. Maintain up-to-date information about student performance

SALARY: Based on training and experience according to the current salary schedule as negotiated by Unit A of the Methuen Education Association
