Computer Systems Specialist


• Install computer systems throughout the district as needed
• Arrange for and/or perform repair on computer systems as needed
• Develop, test, and deploy new operating system images and software installation packages utilizing imaging software.
• Oversee computer labs within assigned buildings
• Train teachers on the technical and procedural use of their computer systems and software
• Provide primary tech support for all Principals, Directors, and staff within assigned building
• Direct responsibility for implementing and managing new client/server applications
• Provide backup support for other computer Systems Specialists
• Contribute to the Technology Department’s procedural documentation library and inventory database
• Maintain appropriate records, databases, passwords, configurations, and vendor contacts as needed to perform the above listed tasks
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
• Reports to the Director of Technology
• Full time (40 hours per week) 12 month position
• Benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions of eligibility set forth by Town of Belmont
