Job Description

The teacher will be responsible for unit/lesson planning, instruction, and assessment of student learning. The teacher will complete student report cards, be available to conference with parents, and work closely with our first grade team to ensure pacing and learning expectations are maintained. In addition to classroom teaching responsibilities, the successful applicant will work well with colleagues in the best interest of student learning and the Hood School community. This assignment begins February 15, 2019 through the end of the 2018-19 school year, tentatively June 25, 2019.

    Job Requirements

    • Master's degree and Massachusetts teaching license in Elementary Education preferred.
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
