Job Description

General Description: The Occupational Therapist provides assessment and intervention to students either on an individual education plan or 504 accommodation plan, so that they can access their education.

Responsibilities:
Share in preparation of IEP as it relates to occupational therapy goals.
Provide assessment and intervention with students who meet criteria of disorders on the occupational therapy spectrum.
Integrate technology into intervention services.
Collaborate with teachers and provide classroom based support with strategies to assist students.
Participate and present at IEP meetings.
Collaborate with team on student needs.
Monitor student progress and keep accurate student data to monitor progress and growth.
Create and manage effective communication with parents and community based organizations.

    • Qualifications:

      Massachusetts Occupational Therapist License
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
