Job Description

The ELA Instructional Coach will provide support to educators in planning, student data analysis, and the application of innovative strategies and best practice. The coach will work with teachers to: assist with implementation of effective new instructional strategies, help identify and share a variety of resources to enhance classroom instruction and improve student achievement, and promote the implementation of the state standards. Highly qualified candidates will be well versed in MA DESE ELA Curriculum Frameworks, have experience teaching ELA at the middle school level, be able to model best practices, understand data-driven practice, and have experience planning and facilitating professional development for teachers.
