Job Description

We are seeking full and part time ( must be at least 16 Hours) counselors for the 2-10 PM shift and full time counselors for the overnight shift 10 PM – 8 AM . Includes some weekends.

The Ivy Street School serves as a year-round residential program and day school for adolescents and young adults with autism, neurological disorders, and mental health diagnoses

Residential Counselors work with our students providing supervision and positive behavioral supports, maintaining the safety and structure of the program, but who are also comfortable with and capable of working with students behavioral issues.
Residential Counselors, along with all Ivy Street staff, receive a full Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training along with training in other behavioral interventions before they begin to work.

Other duties include: providing supervision and support in activities of daily living, engaging the student in community involvement, assisting in specified IEP goals and students' medication management, relationships, and money management.
Working as a Residential Counselor offers excellent experience for someone interested in pursuing a career in psychology, social work, BCBA, special education or most other professions. .

Requirements:
•BA/BS in related field or relevant experience preferred but not required
•Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Salary- $15 an hour to start
