Job Description

Benchmark Behavioral Solutions is searching for individuals to work as part of our ABA Autism services in Berkshire County, MA. The BCBA provides home and community based ABA services to parents and individuals supporting children with Autism. They supervise direct support staff and provide ongoing parent training to increase independence and promote generalization. BCBAs ensure that behaviors targeted for change are meaningful and important to the family and their community, and will increase quality of life for those involved.

Applicants must be certified as a Behavior Analyst by the BACB. Please do not apply if you do not have your BCBA certification.

Typical Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducts assessment activities related to the need for behavioral interventions
  • Designs and monitors ABA programs on caseload
  • Ensures all ABA programs are effective and promote generality
  • Completes IOA and procedural integrity checks when necessary
  • Ongoing staff training to behavior technicians and RBTs
  • Ensures ABA programming targets behaviors that are important to the family and improve quality of life for individuals involved
  • Ensures appropriate data is being collected, graphed, and reported accurately
  • Ensures all behavior change procedures are easily understood by those implementing them
  • Aids in the development of behavioral systems and performance management for direct support staff
  • Provides parent training and advocates for parent involvement with ABA programs
  • Writes reports on client progress when necessary
  • Meets regularly with supervisor to discuss caseload specific issues as well as discuss updates in the field of behavior analysis
  • Aids in the development of direct support staff schedules and caseloads
  • Complies with all requirements set forth by the BACB including the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts; as well as, complies with the Code of Professional Conduct and other obligations outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Other activities normally performed by a behavior analyst that are directly related to the application of behavior analysis as requested by supervisor

  • Supervision & Evaluation:
    The BCBA reports directly to the Executive Director. Weekly mentoring, training, and supervision are provided.

    Pay Rate:
    Commensurate with applied experience and certification.
