Job Description

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of students for whom school has been a difficult place to be? Are you a knowledgeable, committed and creative educator seeking to transform the learning experience for these students? Then North Crossing Academy’s (NCA) current opening for a program director is for you!

NCA offers three models for full day alternative school programs for students who have experienced challenges in the traditional high school setting. The EDCO 45 Day Assessment Program and the EDCO Youth Alternative Interim Program within North Crossing Academy are short-term placement options for students with profiles as described above but whose needs for school placement are short term.

The Program Director for North Crossing Academy will be a creative and enthusiastic educational administrator who is current in best practices in social-emotional learning, committed to serving an at-risk population of students, and highly effective in supporting teaching and clinical staff to achieve excellence in their delivery of services to students, while maintaining high expectations for students and staff alike.
