Job Description

The Amherst-Pelham Regional School District is currently seeking a full-time permanent Dean of Students at the Amherst Regional Middle School. This is a One year school-year position. Administrative Principal/Assistant Principal license required.

Responsibilities include:

· Provide data to administration and Student Intervention Team (SIT) weekly to monitor school and student progress

· Collaborate with the school community to ensure a safe and healthy school climate and culture

· Proactively engage with students to promote strong social-emotional relationships

· Implement and model Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

· Re-engage students in the classroom learning environment to ensure minimal time lost on learning

· Assist in the development of policies that promote equity for all students

· Implement and model Restorative Justice practices

· Serve as a liaison to community organizations to support student wellness

· Maintain visibility throughout the school

· Other duties as assigned by the principals
