Job Description

The Amherst Pelham Regional School District is currently seeking highly qualified candidates for the one-year combined position of Social Studies and English Language Arts for an assignment at the Amherst-Pelham Regional Middle School for the 2018-2019 school year. The district is seeking applicants who currently hold a valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license for level 5-8 as a Humanities teacher, or two combined licenses as Social Studies Teacher and English Language Arts teacher. Emphasis on interdisciplinary teaching methods for middle school engagement is a priority. Collaborative collegiality practices are valued. Enthusiasm for supporting achievement of early adolescents is a must. Experience teaching within the current Massachusetts History and Social Sciences Curriculum Frameworks is preferred.
