Job Description

Cathedral 7-12 High School seeks a full-time, student-centered, high school-level mathematics teacher. The ideal candidate for the position has experience with high school-level mathematics instruction, the student-centered learning model, personalized learning, urban education, is collaborative, and speaks a second language.

JOB GOALS:


To effectively provide student-centered mathematics instruction for grades 9 through 12.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:


Teach mathematics courses for grades 9 through 12
Attend department and curriculum meetings to support student outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS:


Required:
Certification in secondary mathematics

Preferred:
Experienced classroom teacher
Experience working with urban youth
Speaks another language

REPORTS TO: Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School year (225 days)

START DATE: August 2018

SALARY: Negotiated based upon experience
