Job Description

Dallas School District is accepting applications for a full-time special education teacher at LaCreole Middle School in the DLC classroom. This position is for the 2018-19 school year with some options to begin this spring.



  • Applicants must have a current Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
  • Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities preferred.
  • Collaborate with parents, staff, and other members of the team to develop IEP's for each student.
  • Participates in the eligibility process for individual students.
  • Ability to manage individual student needs in multiple academic settings.
  • Assess student achievement on an ongoing basis. 
  • Ability to direct paraprofessionals in a wide range of student ability levels.
  • Ability to design and implement individual and small group instruction in a functional academic setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
