Job Description

Hours: 40 hours per week (including weekends). Shifts may vary.

This person would be responsible for prepping and preparing meals, delivery of food carriers to the dining hall and the various dorms, kitchen clean up and restocking of food supplies. This position would require someone with the ability to make multiple trips upstairs to the dining area and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to assist with incoming food supply orders and stock organization. Some experience preferred but we’ll train the right candidate to operate our specific equipment. This is a seasonal position lasting through the end of August.

Other requirements:

Driver’s license required.

Must meet insurance and program licensing requirements and background checks.

Physical & TB test also required.

    The Wediko School is a residential treatment center that offers clinical and educational services for boys ages 11 to 21 in a safe, therapeutic, and educational environment. Wediko clinicians work closely with the student’s family and referring professional with the goal of returning the child to his home and community, or a less restrictive school, as soon as possible.

    Wediko works with students who are struggling with complex psychiatric profiles and disruptive behaviors. Often, students do not fit neatly under the criteria of a specific diagnosis or they have been diagnosed with multiple disorders, including, but not limited to, the following:

    Bipolar Disorder
    Depression & Mood Disorders
    Anxiety Disorders
    Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD or ADD)
    Reactive Attachment Disorder
    Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
    Asperger’s Disorder
    Non-Verbal Learning Disorder (NVLD)
