The Classroom Behavior Specialist (CBS) functions as a teacher assistant in one of our special education self-contained classrooms and provides direct care, behavior management, and support for social emotional skill development. Responsible for assisting the Special Education Teachers in the implementation of an effective educational program for children assigned. Provides services to young children.

    Job Requirements

    • Baccalaureate Degree preferred with a major in Special Education or related human service fields.

      Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process

      Prior experience working with children helpful.
