Job Description

The Therapeutic Learning Center (TLC) paraprofessional will work with the classroom teacher to provide support to students’ in grades K-5. The TLC instructional program is a self-contained classroom for students that are identified with emotional and behavior problems that affect their learning. The paraprofessional will provide hands-on support as directed by the classroom teacher to enable students to achieve their maximum potential. The paraprofessional will assist with the basic academic and behavioral functions of students.

Salary rate is based on degree level, years of relevant experience, certification, language skills, etc.

Position is in Unit D of the Randolph Educators Association.
Entitled to full benefits.
6.5 hours per day, for 182 days per year, plus pay for 10 holidays.

    Job Requirements

    • Must have either an Associates or Bachelors Degree.
      Candidates without a degree must meet highly qualified requirements through state testing.
      Must be certified in Physical Restraint and have experience working with students with social-emotional and behavioral challenges.
      Experience working in a diverse community is preferred.
    • At least 2 year s of relevant experience preferred
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
