Clinical Coordinator

2017-2018 School Year



  • Master’s degree in clinical or school psychology
  • Current and valid MA DESE licenses in Psychology and Supervisor/Director 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with students with social, emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges in a school setting
  • Knowledge and experience with evidence-based interventions and ability to utilize a variety of behavioral and educational techniques in working with students
  • Experience working with children from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Experience working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, support staff, parents/community, and outside agencies
  • Bilingual Candidates preferred (Spanish and or Portuguese)
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality


The Director of Health and Wellness



Framingham Public Schools is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to coordinate a district level Behavior Intervention Support Team responsible for building systems and providing technical support to building-based teams for students who are experiencing significant social, emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. The goal of this position is to work collaboratively with school-based teachers, administrators and support staff to enhance the social, emotional and behavioral health systems and services in schools.  



  • Collaborate with school-based teams to design systems to effectively support students with social-emotional, behavioral and mental health needs, including implementation behavioral intervention plans
  • Consult on the development and implementation of school-wide systems and initiatives to foster safe and supportive learning environments for all students
  • Promote tolerance and understanding of the impacts of mental health and behavioral challenges on student engagement and academic achievement
  • Provide professional development and modeling for administrators and school staff in increasing capacity to implement short and long-term behavioral interventions
  • Provide oversight and support to school-based teams engaged in crisis intervention
  • Consult and collaborate with school staff, and outside personnel regarding mental health, behavioral and educational concerns, including prevention-oriented approaches



Covered under Framingham Administration Association (FAA) Contract.

The District reserves the right to transfer all personnel among buildings on an as needed basis to serve the best interests of all students.



The performance of this job will be evaluated as per the Framingham Administration Association (FAA) Contract.
