Young Rembrandts is a nation-wide award-winning after-school art enrichment drawing program. Our innovative step-by-step process teaches children basic drawing techniques. Young Rembrandts – Central and West New Jersey will train qualified instructors in the Young Rembrandts’ methodology and teaching techniques. We are looking for individuals with a passion for children and a desire for coaching them through the fundamentals of drawing using our proven step-by-step drawing methods, our curriculum and our supplies.

Our 60 minute drawing classes take place at our partnering schools immediately after school. We provide a training program, the curriculum, the necessary teaching supplies AND the students as well as ongoing support.

• Perfect for a retired teacher, paraeducator, substitute teacher, art instructor, elementary educator.
• Person must be able to draw and has teaching experience.
• Person has a passion for art.
• Person can follow a structured instructional lesson plan.

Required Skills:
• Must love children.
• Must have own transportation.
• Must be able and willing to drive themselves to one or more teaching locations.
• Available for teaching a 1 hour class once a week minimum with preference for individuals who are available 2-3 different evenings per week (Monday to Friday).
• The successful individual must attend a mandatory monthly meeting that is held with their fellow instructors.

Young Rembrandts offers classes in public and private schools at the end of the regular school day, as well as in recreation centers and preschools. Instructors stay with the same assigned teaching location throughout the term.

Currently we are seeking teachers to cover classes in the following communities:

• West Windsor
• Plainsboro
• Princeton
• Hopewell
• Pennington
• Skillman
• Flemington
• Clinton
