St. Ann's Home & School, in Methuen, MA, is a leader in special education and residential programming, offering private day programs, child and adolescent residential services, along with a broad range of outpatient services. We are seeking Child Care / Residential Counselors for our residential treatment programs.

Child Care Counselors provide support and positive role modeling for emotionally troubled children or adolescents; structure, supervise, and manage group dynamics; maintain a nurturing and safe environment; actively participate in weekly team meetings; make important contributions to the children’s/adolescents’ treatment; and gain valuable experience in preparation for graduate school and/or advancement at St. Ann’s Home.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree preferred or experience/skills in working with our population. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to work effectively, collaboratively and respectfully with individuals, care providers, family and community members, and will require flexibility to work varying hours to meet the needs of our residents, as well as effective oral and written communication skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
