Job Description

• Instruct computer science courses at the high school level, including Advanced Placement courses.
• Carries out instructional responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Foxborough Regional Charter School Educator Standards,
including robust lesson planning and student assessment.
• Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and for the classroom,
develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
• Continues with personal professional development
• Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by professional growth activities.
• Supports district initiatives.
• Identify, develop, and assist students to participate in academic performance and community competitions where appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned by the High School Principal and/or the Director of Student Activities.

      • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, desire to teach touch typing, safe internet practices, and numerous computer programs
      including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, are also required.
      • Knowledgeable and current in best practices, interdisciplinary curriculum, effective instruction and formative, summative and
      performance-based assessments
      • Experience is preferred but not necessary
      • MDE certification(s) Out of State certifications preferred.
      • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
