Job Description

At Eaton School District we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their potential. Our community is stronger when diverse individuals contribute, and the primary responsibility of every child’s well-being starts at home. Learning is a lifelong process that depends on school and community partnerships.

The Eaton RE-2 School District encompasses the towns of Eaton and Galeton in central Weld County. We are a school-centered community whose local partnerships enrich our community and maximize our students’ opportunities. Families have access to high-quality programs from cradle to career. Partnerships with the Eaton Early Learning Center, the Boys & Girls Club, the Eaton Recreation District, the Poudre Learning Center and the Eaton Public Library ensure our students have access to high-quality programming before, during and after school.

The school district serves approximately 1,900 students in five schools; three elementary, one middle and one high school. Primarily an agricultural community, Eaton retains its small town charm while attracting families who work in larger towns/cities. Within one hour, you can be hiking/ skiing in the mountains, at Denver International Airport, attending a major league sporting event, enjoying downtown Denver attractions or visiting Cheyenne Frontier Days.

The region is stable with high quality medical facilities and a 2.7 percent unemployment rate. Our proximity to Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park provides students with access to museums, amenities and events. It is a short drive to four different colleges/universities: Aims Community College, Colorado State University, Front Range Community College and the University of Northern Colorado.
