Job Description

The Data Management Specialist is responsible for the school's data and reporting needs, support and coordination with grant evaluation teams, student information system data management, student registration, transcript services, and assisting with data needs associated with state and national testing and industry certifications and credentialing.
- Provide accurate data collection and reporting;

- Collaborate with MSAP project director and grant evaluation teams on data collection and management;

- Provide student information system data management;

- Manage state reporting (MSC, discipline, other);

- Collaboratively develop, review, and update reports to improve instruction and personalized learning;

- Collaborate with staff to identify inefficiencies and develop solutions to improve reporting and recording instructional other student data;

- Serve as school registrar;

- Provide transcript services;

- Assist director of testing with state testing and industry certification and credentialing, including administration, data reporting, and necessary uploads;

- Create reports on student achievement and progress;

- Collaborate with the Outreach Coordinator on the student selection and replacement process;

- Collaborate with the MSAP project director to provide data for program reports and evaluations, including coordinating data requests with school divisions;

- Conduct regular data audits; and

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
