Job Description

Job Duties: The Accounting Manager will play an integral role in reporting the appropriate accounting at LABBB Collaborative. The ideal candidate must be able to perform the following functions:

• Conduct monthly variance analysis of significant accounts
• Prepare journal entries, as necessary
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll entries in the organization’s accounting software
• Reconcile all balance sheet on a monthly basis in accordance with the monthly closing schedule
• Reconcile all bank (operating & investment) accounts on a monthly basis
• Prepare accurate & timely monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements in compliance with all Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Ensure coding of revenue & expenses align with the approved annual budget
• Reconcile 941s to the general ledger on a quarterly basis
• Coordinate the revision of LABBB’s Fiscal Policies & Procedures Manual with the Financial Administrator on an annual basis for Board approval
• Process 1099s for vendors
• Process the year-end report for the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education
• Coordinate with the Financial Administrator on the annual audit process
• Liaise between the Finance Office and internal/external requests on any accounting-related inquiries
• Other duties that may arise from time to time pertaining to accounting at LABBB Collaborative

    Job Requirements

    • Qualifications: The ideal candidate will, at minimum, have the following qualifications:

      • Bachelor degree is required, advanced degree is preferred
      • Exemplary communication skills (written & verbal)
      • Exemplary customer service skills
      • Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks, Infinite Visions, or MIP)
      • Proficient user of Microsoft Office & Google platforms
      • Must be an organized, patient, team player
      • Alignment with LABBB’s mission and core values

      Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. LABBB offers a competitive benefits package (health insurance, dental insurance, std/ltd/life insurance, workers compensation, and a robust paid time off package).
