Young Rembrandts is growing!

Do you enjoy working with children? Are you looking for a part time job that fits a morning or an afternoon schedule? We are a perfect fit for professionals with open times in their daytime schedule, retirees, stay-at-home parents easing themselves back into the workforce, and college students majoring in education and/or art.

Young Rembrandts is seeking energetic and enthusiastic candidates who have experience working with children. We will train qualified Instructors in the Young Rembrandts methodology and teaching technique, and provide all lessons, supplies, and materials. You provide enthusiasm and fun!

Young Rembrandts offers classes in public and private schools at the end of the regular school day, as well as in park districts and preschools. We also have a few morning preschool classes. As a Young Rembrandts Instructor, you must be available to teach a minimum of 2 one-hour classes each week. Classes generally start between 2:30-3:30 pm and are 60 minutes long. This is a VERY part-time position, approximately 2-5 afternoons per week.
Required Skills:
-- Proven experience working with groups of children (such as coaching, scouts leader, retired teacher, aid in the classroom, a current teacher, a classroom volunteer, etc.)
--Highly energetic and enthusiastic
--Easy and ready access to computer, smart phone/camera
--Background in art preferred, but not mandatory
--Your own reliable transportation
--Available to teach afterschool hours (typically after 2:30pm) one or more days a week
Additional skills a plus:
--Classroom teaching experience
