Job Description

The Arlington Public Schools is looking for a Speech/Language Pathologist to provide services to students after school hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master’s Degree preferred
2. MA Licensure in Speech and Language
3. Ability to offer variety of services and complete assessments
4. Experience with students with ASD preferred


REPORTS TO:
Director of Special Education/Special Education Coordinator

JOB GOAL:
To deliver a variety of services in speech and language and complete assessments
for the purpose of educational planning.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide therapeutic services to students with a wide variety of speech and language disorders and delays both individual and/or group.
2. Performs diagnostic evaluations and implements treatment plans in relation to student needs.
3. Collaborates with District administration and teachers to provide effective therapy that integrates student’s program.
4. Keep thorough records of the individual student receiving services.


SALARY:
Hourly Rate - $25-$50 per hour depending on experience.

    Job Requirements

    • Must undergo a criminal background check - CORI and Fingerprinting - prior to beginning work.
    • At least 2 year s of relevant experience preferred
    • Master degree preferred
    • Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
