                            Educational Assistant

                           Classified – 1 Position

  1. Position: OJSH Math Intervention/Dropout Prevention Specialist/Substitute Caller

Duties: Support for Math Intervention Class/Facilitate and Implement Student Drop-out Prevention Program and Coordinate and Monitor Substitutes for District using the AESOP Program.

Hours:  7.5 hrs per day/Four Days per week

Rate of Pay Range:  $11.96 (Step 1 Educational Assistant)

                            $14.33 (Step 7 Educational Assistant)

Start Date:       January 22, 2018

 

Substitute Caller duties are part of the regular daily duties.  An additional $125 stipend will be paid per month for night and weekend duties

Duties:             Coordinate and Monitor Substitutes for District using AESOP Program

Stipend:           $1500 annually ($125.00 per month)

  1. Minimum Qualifications:
  2. High school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Ability to work independently; be self-directed and task oriented.
  4. Follow oral and written instructions accurately.
  5. Excellent communication/telephone skills and record-keeping.
  6. Must pass the District skills test by a score of at least 80%.
  7. Salary and Terms of Employment:

The salary and terms of employment are established by Oakridge School District and School Board Policy.
