Job Description

The School Culture Liaison is responsible for implementing the school wide plan for creating a positive culture of behavior in the school, as well as be in charge of administering discipline in accordance with Foxborough Regional Charter School’s Code of Conduct.

Essential Functions:
• Provide and supervise in a fair and consistent manner effective discipline system with high standards, consistent with philosophy, values, and mission of the school including being highly visible around the building and grounds before and after school, during lunch periods, recess, Student Life, and while students are transitioning between classes
• Team with teachers, faculty, counselors, parents, etc. in the implementation of a school-wide plan for creating a positive culture of behavior in the school
o Attend grade level common planning time meetings to receive and disseminate information pertaining to students in that grade
• Assist in protecting the safety, health and welfare of the student body
• Promote student understanding of both their rights and responsibilities as school and community citizens
• Assist in developing programs to promote positive student behavior as well as academic strategies
• Help resolve problems that impede student learning and/or participation in school activities
• Discharge disciplinary measures to those students who violate school policies
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student disciplinary information and provides monthly reports to Dean of Students and Families
o Proactively communicate with parents/guardians regarding any disciplinary actions or incidents that occur
o Assists in monitoring afternoon and Saturday detentions
• Work with the school culture staff and the Dean of Students and Families to organize and track student attendance
o Counsel students in matters of attendance, tardiness, and discipline issues and make every effort to gain their cooperation

    Job Requirements

    • Job Requirements:
      • At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
      • Bachelor degree or equivalent required
      • Experience with Restorative Justice and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports preferred
      • Effective communication and organizational skills necessary
      • CPI experience preferred

    • Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA IN United States required
