Essential Functions:  Demonstrate effective teaching strategies and knowledge of state standards. Demonstrate positive classroom management skills. Work with teachers to analyze and impact professional practice in order to improve student learning outcomes. Use student achievement data and information to inform and guide instruction. Communicate effectively and work cooperatively and collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, administrators, students, parents and community.Learn, understand and adhere to district policies.

    Butte Falls School District is a small district located in the rural community of Butte Falls in Southern Oregon. The district has one charter school, K-12 with approximately 180 students.

    Grades K-7 are housed at the elementary building and grades 8-12 at the secondary building, along with an outdoor learning site located just outside of town.

    Job Requirements

    • Must have the ability to possess an Oregon teaching license.
      Must have possess a Social Studies endorsement or possess knowledge of the Social Studies content.
      Must have the ability to connect with students to allow them the ability to learn the content being taught.
      Contract length will be 164 days for a full school year.
