Job Description

This is the position of Behavioral Analyst/BCB/LABA. The individual will be working in a variety of work environments as a BCBA consultant. These work environments may include school districts, residential programs, adult day habilitation centers, and in-home behavior services. The BCBA consultant may work directly with children and adult with disabilities as well as provide consultation and training to parents and staff. This position requires conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing behavior interventions plans (BIPs), and possibly transitional assessments for individuals with developmental disabilities including Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position also requires providing training to school staff, parents, development on the implementation of particular protocols, data collection, and progress monitoring techniques.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Consult with team members about behavior plans, curriculum modifications, accommodations and social skills and provide staff with resources, tools, and in-class modeling of techniques;
2. Oversee and provide consultation to school staff regarding programming and IEP implementation, and attend IEP meetings;
3. Assist in the development and oversee behavior plans for in-classroom implementation and assess progress of effectiveness of behavior plans and curriculum modifications;
4. Conduct behavior assessments and devise appropriate behavior plans/FBA/BX plans;
5. Assist coordination of transitions from Early Intervention Programs and community agencies to school programs, and from school to community agencies prior to age 22;
6. Provide insurance based direct ABA services in the home
7. Provide supervision to behavior mentors that are directly implementing behavior intervention plans in the home.
