Cassia School District Trustees are announcing a search for a superintendent of schools to begin immediately as the current Superintendent will retire at the completion of the 2017-2018 fiscal year.


Cassia Joint School District #151 is a consolidated, district that encompasses 2,577 square miles and includes portions of Oneida and Twin Falls counties. There are currently 17 schools and the enrollment of 5559 students makes it the 13th largest district in Idaho.

This is a 12 month, year round position beginning July 1, 2018.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of 10 years successful experience in education is preferred


2. Master’s degree or higher

3. Valid Idaho Administrative credential with Superintendent Endorsement, or, eligible for licensure as a Superintendent in Idaho

4. Superintendent experience is preferred

5. Successful experience in leadership roles

6. Knowledgeable in curriculum and instruction

7. Knowledgeable in pertinent federal and state laws

8. Technologically competent
